About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Process Improvement Engineer to join their operations in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire . This role is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and improving the overall quality of our client's production processes. You will play a key role in analyzing current systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing effective solutions using established methodologies. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.
- Design and implement process improvements utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Develop and maintain accurate process documentation, including flowcharts and SOPs.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
- Monitor process performance using key metrics and provide regular reports on improvements achieved.
- Facilitate and lead Kaizen events and other continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in process analysis and improvement roles, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with lean manufacturing tools and methodologies (e.g., 5S, VSM, Poka-Yoke).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Experience with process mapping and documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
