About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Process Improvement Engineer to join their facility in Coventry, West Midlands . In this role, you will be at the forefront of optimizing manufacturing and operational processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal waste. You will work closely with production teams to identify bottlenecks, develop innovative solutions, and implement changes that drive productivity and enhance product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities for streamlining and cost reduction.
- Design and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma tools.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation of new processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train staff on new procedures and best practices to ensure consistent adoption of improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a process improvement or industrial engineering role.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative improvement culture.
