Process Improvement Engineer

You will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, developing solutions, and leading the implementation of process enhancements. Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis and direct observation.
• Lead and manage projects focused on implementing lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive problem-solving and implement corrective actions.
• Measure and report on the impact of implemented improvements on key performance indicators.
• Provide training and guidance to operational staff on new processes and techniques in Birmingham .

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in a process improvement or industrial engineering role.
• Strong understanding and practical application of lean manufacturing tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, VSM).
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly desirable.
• Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and process mapping software.
