About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and analytical Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence within their manufacturing facilities, with a focus on remote collaboration and oversight, based near Bristol . This role is dedicated to identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices across production processes. You will leverage data analysis, lean methodologies, and a deep understanding of manufacturing to deliver significant improvements in productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement new processes or modify existing ones to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on new processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement changes effectively.
- Measure and report on the impact of implemented improvements, ensuring sustained benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid team environment is highly desirable.
