Process Improvement Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Improvement Specialist to enhance operational workflows within their manufacturing division. This role involves a hybrid working model, blending remote flexibility with essential on-site collaboration at their Milton Keynes facility. You will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing innovative solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about continuous improvement and adept at driving change within a manufacturing context, contributing to a more efficient and effective operational framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.
• Develop, document, and implement new process workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency gains and waste reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement improvement projects.
• Train staff on new processes and best practices to ensure successful adoption and sustained performance.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in process improvement, operational excellence, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid setting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
