Process Improvement Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Process Improvement Specialist to join their team, working in a hybrid capacity supporting operations in Bristol . This role is focused on analyzing current manufacturing processes, identifying areas of inefficiency, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will leverage methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to drive significant operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing and operational processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement strategies and projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on process improvement tools and techniques.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to ensure successful implementation of changes.
• Document process changes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a process improvement or continuous improvement role.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (certification preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
