Process Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Process Industrial Engineer to enhance operational efficiency and productivity within their facility in Liverpool . This role is instrumental in analyzing current production processes, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing effective solutions. You will work closely with operations and engineering teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Design optimized production layouts and workflows to enhance material and people flow.
• Conduct time studies and performance analyses to establish realistic production standards.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure processes meet required standards and specifications.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, focusing on process analysis and improvement.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Experience with data analysis, process simulation, and performance metrics development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
