Process Optimization Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Process Optimization Engineer to enhance operational efficiency at their facility in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is focused on analyzing existing chemical processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a key role for someone passionate about efficiency and problem-solving within Staffordshire's industrial landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process upsets and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operators and maintenance staff to ensure effective implementation of optimized procedures.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on process performance.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of process control improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in process analysis, optimization, or continuous improvement roles.
• Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in statistical software.
