About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Procurement Administrator to provide essential support to their purchasing team in Oxford . This role is fundamental to the smooth functioning of the procurement department, involving the processing of orders, maintaining records, and liaising with suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and raise accurate purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Manage and update supplier records, ensuring all information is current and compliant.
- Act as a point of contact for supplier queries regarding orders, deliveries, and invoices.
- Assist with the preparation of procurement reports and data analysis.
- Ensure that all procurement documentation is correctly filed and easily retrievable.
- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks related to sourcing and contract management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, ideally within a procurement or purchasing setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous approach to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
