About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support their purchasing operations in Wolverhampton . This role is focused on providing critical data analysis, market intelligence, and reporting to drive informed procurement decisions. You will play a key part in identifying cost-saving opportunities, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring the efficiency of procurement processes. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and generate regular reports on spend, supplier performance, and market dynamics.
- Assist in the creation of business cases for strategic sourcing initiatives and cost reduction programs.
- Support the procurement team in supplier evaluation and performance monitoring activities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform procurement strategies.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within procurement systems and databases.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst , data analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with excellent proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain principles.
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
