About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven Procurement Analyst to join their dynamic team in Leeds . This role is crucial for providing analytical support to the procurement department, focusing on spend analysis, market intelligence, and supplier performance monitoring. You will play a key part in identifying cost-saving opportunities, streamlining processes, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify trends, savings opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
• Gather and analyse market intelligence to support strategic sourcing decisions and supplier selection.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance against contractual obligations and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain procurement data dashboards and reports for management review.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, evaluation criteria, and contract award recommendations.
• Support the procurement team in ad-hoc analysis and projects to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar analytical role within procurement.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
• Excellent understanding of procurement processes and principles.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
