Procurement Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their procurement department based in Reading , working remotely. You will be responsible for analyzing spend data, monitoring market trends, and supporting the development of sourcing strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for procurement performance tracking.
• Support category managers with market intelligence and supplier analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of RFx documents and bid analysis.
• Monitor key procurement metrics and identify areas for process improvement.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within procurement systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within procurement or finance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
