Procurement Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for an analytical and data-driven Procurement Analyst to join their purchasing team in Bradford . This role is critical for supporting strategic decision-making by providing insights into spending patterns, supplier performance, and market trends. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on procurement data, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. The role operates on a hybrid model, combining essential office-based collaboration with the flexibility of remote work, contributing to a modern and efficient team structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain spend cube analysis to understand organizational expenditure.
• Monitor supplier performance against key metrics and contractual obligations.
• Assist in the preparation of business cases for procurement initiatives and cost-saving projects.
• Support the negotiation process by providing data-driven insights and market intelligence.
• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports for management review.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a procurement , data analysis, or finance role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and draw actionable conclusions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
