Procurement Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Procurement Analyst to join their purchasing department in Bristol . This hybrid role is essential for providing critical insights into procurement performance, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on procurement data, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to the optimization of the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data, including spend, supplier performance, and market intelligence.
• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
• Support the procurement team in developing sourcing strategies and conducting supplier evaluations.
• Assist in managing supplier contracts and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in procurement analytics.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis, procurement, or finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas) and data visualization tools.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software is a plus.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related quantitative field.
