Procurement Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and data-driven Procurement Analyst to join their remote team, based within reach of Stoke-on-Trent . This position offers the full flexibility of remote work, focusing on supporting procurement operations through rigorous data analysis and reporting. You will be instrumental in identifying cost-saving opportunities, improving procurement processes, and providing valuable insights to the procurement leadership. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of procurement metrics and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards for procurement activities.
• Prepare regular reports on spend, supplier performance, and market intelligence.
• Support the procurement team in supplier evaluation and negotiation strategy development through data-driven insights.
• Assist in the implementation and optimisation of procurement systems and tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within procurement databases.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst , Data Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
• Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software is advantageous.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fully remote setting.
