About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the acquisition of goods and services that meet the company's quality standards and budgetary requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of market dynamics, negotiation tactics, and contract management, contributing to cost savings and operational efficiency from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize spending and supplier performance.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities and reliability.
Negotiate favourable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors and service providers.
Manage end-to-end procurement processes , from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues proactively to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar senior procurement role.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment.
