Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies aligned with company goals and market conditions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the procurement team.
- Oversee major contract negotiations with key suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Manage the overall spend portfolio, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior procurement leadership role, with a proven track record of strategic sourcing and cost savings.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a procurement team.
- Expertise in contract law, negotiation techniques, and risk management within purchasing .
- Strong understanding of global supply chains and international procurement practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
