About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist with expertise in sourcing direct materials to join their manufacturing operations team in Plymouth . This critical role will focus on securing raw materials, components, and supplies essential for production, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. You will be responsible for developing supplier relationships, negotiating supply agreements, and managing inventory levels in close collaboration with production and engineering departments. This is a key on-site role essential for maintaining efficient manufacturing output.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure direct materials, ensuring alignment with product specifications and quality standards.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers of raw materials and components.
• Manage supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and address any supply chain disruptions.
