Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for assigned categories, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service level agreements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and benchmark pricing.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value and mitigate risks.
- Manage supplier performance and foster strong, collaborative relationships to ensure consistent supply and service excellence.
- Process purchase requisitions and orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods and services to internal departments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar purchasing role.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems, with excellent data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CIPS or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced London setting.
