Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms.
• Manage the tendering process, including preparing RFQs and evaluating bids.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and forecast demand.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar purchasing role.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and supplier engagement.
• A proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
