Procurement Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for assigned categories, including sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiation .
• Identify potential suppliers and conduct due diligence to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance against contractual obligations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their requirements and provide expert procurement advice.
• Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role, with a strong understanding of sourcing methodologies.
• Experience in contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Relevant professional qualification or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is advantageous.
