Join a well-established, market-leading business with over 100 years of success behind it — and an exciting growth strategy ahead.
As the company continues to expand its own-label portfolio, they're looking for a commercially driven Own Label Product Manager to take ownership of the product journey from initial concept through to launch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining product development, supplier management, commercial thinking and creativity to bring new products to market.
The Role
You'll play a key role in developing and growing the own-label portfolio, including:
* Developing and delivering own-label product and brand strategies
* Managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch
* Identifying new opportunities through market and competitor analysis
* Working with Marketing to develop strong brand propositions and packaging
* Managing suppliers and negotiating cost, quality and lead times
* Developing and delivering the Own Label Development Plan
* Ensuring products meet all legal, safety and quality requirements
* Signing off samples, packaging and final production
* Working closely with Product Management, Procurement, Purchasing and Marketing
About You
We're looking for someone with experience in product development, buying or category management, ideally within an own-label/private-label environment.
You'll bring:
* Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
* Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in product innovation
* Understanding of manufacturing, sourcing and compliance
* Excellent project management and organisational skills
* A creative, commercially focused approach
* The flexibility to travel occasionally, around 5%
Why This Role?
This isn't simply about managing a product range — it's about creating products, developing brands and spotting the next opportunity for growth.
If you're ready to take real ownership and make a visible impact within an ambitious business, this could be a great next move
