Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development activities to create new product formulations and improve existing ones, focusing on taste, texture, and shelf-life.
- Develop prototypes and conduct laboratory-scale testing to assess product viability and performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Ensure all product development activities comply with relevant food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Scale up product formulations from laboratory to pilot plant and eventually to full-scale production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Proven experience in product development , preferably within the FMCG or food industry .
- Strong knowledge of formulation science, ingredient functionality, and processing techniques.
- Excellent laboratory skills and experience with analytical instrumentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
