Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development activities to formulate new products and optimise existing ones, focusing on taste, texture, stability, and nutritional profile.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments, pilot trials, and consumer testing to evaluate product performance and consumer acceptance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and regulatory affairs, throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Ensure all product development activities adhere to stringent quality control standards, food safety regulations, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide scientific expertise to resolve formulation and processing issues.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and competitor product innovations to inform future development.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in product development, ideally within the FMCG food industry .
• Strong understanding of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, processing technologies, and sensory evaluation.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, experimental design, and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to innovation.
