Reporting to: Senior Product Manager (Pouches & Accessories) – Ostomy

JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager - Ostomy, theProduct Manager(Pouches & Accessories)– Ostomyis responsible forsupporting the execution ofthe product vision and strategyof the Global Ostomybusiness.
TheProduct Manager(Pouches & Accessories)– Ostomywilltake a holistic view of the product experience and will supporttheportfoliothroughall stages ofthe product lifecycle(fromNPDto maintenance in market),maximising revenue, profit, marketshareand user experience.
TheProduct Manager(Pouches & Accessories)– Ostomyacts as the voice of the user inside the Global Ostomy business and is an expert in translating their needs intoproduct shaping informationthroughNPDspecification documentation(URS -‘User Requirements Specification’ andMRS‘Market Requirements Specification’)
TheProduct Manager(Pouches & Accessories)– Ostomywillsupportactivitiesthat helpdefineandmaintainourglobal product portfolio,ensuring we have both a commerciallycompelling and operationally effective product offering.
Workingalongside colleagues in the Product & Insights Team,theProduct Manager(Pouches & Accessories)– Ostomywill play a key role in helping create and sustain a culture of embedding a user-based approach to all messaging, communication and development of our product propositions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Management
- Working closely with theSenior Product Manager (Pouches & Accessories), maximise the commercial performance of the Global OstomyPouches & Accessoriesportfolio and support our ambition of delivering best-in-class global product management.
- Own the Global OstomyPouches & Accessoriesportfolio throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring effective management from concept through to end of life while supporting the global commercial strategy.
- Proactively manage the Global OstomyPouches & Accessoriesportfolio, optimising SKU complexity to balance commercial opportunity, operationalefficiencyand customer needs.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the Global OstomyPouches & Accessoriesportfolio, using market,customerand commercial insights toidentifyopportunities for product enhancements and future developments.
- Maximise the commercial potential of the portfolio byidentifyingopportunities for line extensions, lifecyclemanagementand continuous product evolution.
- Monitor global commercial performance and develop clear product strategies and recommendations when intervention isrequiredto improve performance.
- Develop andmaintaina deep understanding of global market dynamics, supporting research and analysis toidentifyemerging trends, unmetneedsand commercial opportunities.
- Lead competitor analysis for the Global OstomyPouches & Accessoriesportfolio,maintainingaccessible and up-to-date intelligence that supports strategic decision-making across the business.
- Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to support commercial activitiesrequiredto achieve and maintain MDR compliance across the Global OstomyPouches & Accessoriesportfolio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess, plan and successfully implement changes to product specifications.
- Champion the Global OstomyPouches & Accessoriesportfolio, ensuring product presentation,positioningand supporting materials consistently reflect the highest standards.
- Deliver engaging product training for new Ostomy employees, tailoring content to meet the requirements ofdifferent functionsand audiences whereappropriate.
- Maintainaccurateand up-to-date technical product documentation for the Global OstomyPouches & Accessoriesportfolio.
Product Development
- Work in close partnership with Eakin R&D (ERD) to play a leading role in the New Product Development (NPD) process, ensuring market, customer and user needs are translated into commercially successful product solutions.
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the Global Product Roadmap, ensuring priorities align with strategic businessobjectives.
- Play a key role in developing and executing go-to-market launch plans that deliver agreed commercialobjectivesand successful product introductions.
- Collaborate closely with the ERD Innovation team toidentifynew growth opportunities across global ostomy markets and adjacent therapeutic areas.
- Actively contribute to the NPD stage-gate process, ensuring projects progress effectively and products are launched successfully and on time.
- Partner with the Global Marketing Team to develop compelling product positioning, valuepropositionsand messaging, underpinned by robust market,customerand user insights.
AS A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE YOU’LL HAVE:

- BSc/BA in relevant field
- PreviousProduct Management experience
- Strong data analytical skills

Desirable
- Professional qualification in Marketing, Product Management, or equivalent
- Specific experience in Ostomy Care, WoundCare, Urology
- International experience
- Previousexperience of working within a family owned/run business
