We are a market leader in supplying Nickel Based Super Alloy and Stainless Steel forgings and bar globally to the Oil & Gas, Energy and wider engineering industries.
We are currently recruiting for a Production Controller (Machining) within our busy Production department.
Key Tasks
* Working with the Operations Management team to control the subcontract machining process.
* Overseeing deadlines and ensuring work is effectively prioritised.
* Meeting regularly with management to discuss performance and workloads.
* Planning ahead to ensure adequate resources are available in order to maintain standards and deadlines.
* Handling production schedules / timelines and overseeing the work to list.
Desirable Criteria
* Machining knowledge advantageous.
* Understanding of technical drawings and tolerances.
* Eager to develop new skills.
* Good communicator and ability to motivate.
* Experience of working in a factory environment.
