About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join their innovative team, operating remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and driving efficiency through remote collaboration and digital tools. You will work closely with on-site teams and cross-functional departments to implement new technologies, troubleshoot production issues, and develop best practices from a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Develop and implement new manufacturing methods, technologies, and equipment specifications.
- Provide remote technical support to production teams, troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
- Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Utilize data analysis tools to monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production engineering or process engineering role.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with experience using virtual teamwork platforms.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
