Production Engineer

I’m working with an innovative technology company developing cutting-edge products, and they’re looking for a Production Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll help take advanced products from prototype builds through to production, working across manufacturing, assembly, integration, testing and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

• Build, assemble and test complex mechanical, electrical and optical systems
• Support the transition of products from prototype into production
• Troubleshoot, fault-find and resolve manufacturing and assembly issues
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions and production documentation
• Drive improvements across manufacturing processes, efficiency and quality
• Support 3D printing, parts management and inventory
• Work closely with suppliers and outsourced manufacturing partners

What we’re looking for

• Production or manufacturing experience within a mechanical, electrical or optical engineering environment
• Hands-on experience with assembly, integration and testing
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Experience working with complex hardware or technical products
• A proactive, practical and detail-oriented approach
• Someone who enjoys solving problems and getting hands-on with hardware
• Experience supporting the journey from prototype to production would be highly beneficial
