About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join their operational team in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK . This role is critical for optimizing the performance and efficiency of existing oil and gas fields. You will focus on maximizing hydrocarbon recovery, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing strategies to enhance asset value. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of production operations, artificial lift systems, and well performance analysis. Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze well and facility production data to identify opportunities for optimization.
Develop and implement strategies for artificial lift systems (e.g., ESPs, gas lift) to enhance recovery.
Troubleshoot and resolve production-related problems, including equipment failures and flow assurance issues.
Perform production forecasting and contribute to production optimization plans.
Collaborate with reservoir engineers, drilling engineers, and operations personnel to ensure efficient field development and operation.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
Solid understanding of production facilities, well completions, and artificial lift technologies.
Proficiency in production modeling software and data analysis tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
