About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations entirely remotely. In this critical role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all manufacturing activities to ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality goods. You will leverage digital tools and communication platforms to manage teams, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement across all production processes, working closely with supply chain, quality control, and engineering departments to achieve strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts and delivery targets.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage remote production teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Oversee inventory management and raw material procurement logistics.
- Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and process optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage remote teams effectively.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other relevant software.
- A degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
