About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Production Manager to lead their manufacturing operations in Nottingham . This senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to execution and quality control. You will lead a team of production staff, drive efficiency, and ensure that production targets are met within budget and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, and a proven ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize day-to-day production operations to meet output targets and deadlines.
- Develop and implement production strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the implementation of health and safety policies and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Significant experience as a Production Manager or in a similar senior manufacturing leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and P&L responsibilities.
