Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Production Manager to lead their manufacturing operations in Wolverhampton . This senior role demands a strong leader capable of driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across all production departments. You will be responsible for managing resources, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the team meets ambitious production targets. This is a key position for an individual aiming to shape the future of manufacturing operations in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring targets for volume, quality, and cost are met.
Develop and implement strategic production plans to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Manage, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards and procedures across all lines.
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations .
Collaborate with other departments, including supply chain, engineering, and sales, to align production with business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Production Management or senior manufacturing leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated success in improving production efficiency and reducing costs.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes , quality systems, and H&S regulations.
Experience with production planning and control systems, and budgeting.
Ability to manage complex operations in a dynamic environment in Wolverhampton .
