About the Role

Our client seeks a highly motivated and experienced Production Operations Manager to lead their production activities in the Glasgow region. This senior role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of oil and gas production facilities, ensuring efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant production. You will manage a team of operational staff, optimize production processes, and manage operational budgets. This is a leadership position with significant responsibility, contributing directly to the company's operational performance and strategic goals in the upstream sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the performance of oil and gas production facilities.
• Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, controlling costs and improving efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the production operations team.
• Oversee maintenance planning and execution to minimize downtime.
• Implement best practices in production operations and asset integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in oil and gas production operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Proven ability to manage complex operational challenges and large teams.
• Strong understanding of production equipment, processes, and safety management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
