Production Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Production Operations Manager to lead their production facilities in the Belfast region. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of oil and gas production operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. You will manage operational teams, optimize production processes, and implement strategies to enhance asset performance and maintain robust operational integrity within the Oil & Gas industry . This is a critical leadership position requiring extensive experience in managing large-scale production facilities and a strong commitment to operational excellence and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations, including production targets, maintenance, and logistics.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production rates and minimize downtime.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production supervisors and operational staff.
• Oversee the management of operational budgets and capital expenditure for production assets.
• Implement best practices in production optimization and asset integrity management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in oil and gas production operations , with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and complex production facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment, and associated technologies.
• Strong understanding of HSE management systems and regulatory compliance in the Oil & Gas sector .
• Excellent strategic planning, financial management, and stakeholder communication skills.
