About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-oriented Production Operations Supervisor to oversee their production facilities located near Cardiff . This hybrid role involves managing day-to-day operations, leading a team of field operators, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant production of hydrocarbons. You will be instrumental in maintaining high operational standards, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets while ensuring the well-being of your team and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production operators to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor production performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Manage operational budgets and optimize resource allocation.
• Train and mentor operational staff, fostering a culture of safety and performance excellence.

Requirements

• Significant experience in oil and gas production operations, with prior supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of production facilities, processes, and equipment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to oil and gas production.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage teams and drive performance in a hybrid work model.
• Degree or HND in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
