Production Operative Nightshift

We are currently seeking a Production Operative to join our client's busy packaging team on a permanent night shift. Pay Rate

£14.59 per hour

Working Hours

This position operates on a 39-hour night shift pattern:

• Sunday: 10:00pm – Monday 5:00am

• Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm – 5:00am

• Friday: Finish at 5:00am

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.

• Follow instructions detailed on specification sheets.

• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure materials are available for production.

• Support the production crew with efficient job set-ups.

• Stack and dispatch pallets to a high standard suitable for palletisation.

• Carry out cleaning duties and basic maintenance tasks.

• Identify opportunities to improve manual handling processes.

• Report mechanical issues promptly to the Machine Operator.

• Use resources efficiently to minimise waste and reduce costs.

• Assist in resolving quality and operational issues.

• Contribute ideas to improve productivity, service levels, and cost efficiency.

• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times.

Please note: Due to the location of the site, own transport is essential.
