Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client, Cranswick Country Foods Riverside in Hull.

Cranswick Country Foods is one of the UK's leading food producers. The Riverside site opened in 2012 and produces fresh and added-value pork products for a major UK retailer.

Due to continued demand, we have multiple immediate opportunities for Production Operatives to join the team on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, with both day and night shifts available.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for ongoing, full-time employment, with the potential to progress to a permanent contract.

Pay & Working Hours

Day Shift

6:00am-6:00pm 4 On / 4 Off £12.86 per hourNight Shift

6:00pm-6:00am 4 On / 4 Off £15.42 per hour

Your Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, your duties will include:

Assembling pork products ready for packaging Packing and labelling finished products Handling and moving meat products Continuously checking product quality on the production line Following work instructions and production procedures Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness Complying with Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times Following all Health & Safety requirements Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines Working independently when required and as part of a wider production teamPlease note that this is a physically active role and involves handling meat products in a food manufacturing environment.

What We're Looking For

Previous food production, manufacturing or factory experience would be advantageous, but is not essential, as training will be provided.

We are looking for candidates who are:

Reliable and punctual Flexible and hardworking Self-motivated with a positive attitude Physically fit and comfortable handling meat products Able to work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off pattern Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Able to follow instructions and procedures accurately Committed to high standards of Food Safety, Quality and Health & Safety Keen to learn, develop and progress
