Production Operative

Are you an experienced Food Production Operative looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position?

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and well-established food manufacturing business based in Shoreham-by-Sea. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their production team with reliable and hardworking individuals who have previous experience working within food production, manufacturing, or a fast-paced production environment.

• Competitive pay of £13.14 - £14.27 per hour

Your duties will include:

• Preparing, mixing, and assembling food products using production machinery and equipment

• Handling raw ingredients and following production specifications

• Operating within strict food hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process

• Moving products and ingredients safely around the production facility

• Cleaning equipment and maintaining high housekeeping standards

• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets

Available shifts include:

• AM Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm

• PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

• Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience within food production, food manufacturing, production, or a factory environment

• The ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet production targets

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices

• A reliable and positive approach to work

• Good teamwork and communication skills

Please note: Previous food production or manufacturing experience is preferred and candidates with relevant experience will be prioritised.
