About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and analytical Production Planner to support their manufacturing operations in Brighton . This role is crucial for ensuring that production schedules are optimized to meet demand efficiently, balancing resource availability with customer orders. You will play a key role in coordinating production activities, managing inventory levels, and liaising with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, considering material availability, machine capacity, and labor resources.
• Monitor production progress against schedules and implement adjustments as needed to address any deviations or delays.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to optimize stock while meeting demand.

• Prepare reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and inventory status for management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production planning , scheduling, or supply chain coordination.
