Production Planner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Production Planner to join their manufacturing team. In this hybrid role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and timely execution of production schedules. Your responsibilities will include coordinating production activities, managing material flow, and optimizing resource allocation to meet demand targets. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with various departments to maintain smooth operations. You will be central to the planning process, ensuring our production lines operate at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, material availability, and capacity constraints.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, and production teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Monitor production progress against schedules, identifying and resolving any deviations or bottlenecks.
• Communicate production schedules and updates effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in inventory management and control, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improving scheduling efficiency and throughput.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using planning software and MS Excel for data analysis and scheduling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid setting .
