Production Planner

Job Title: Production Planner Salary: Up to £35,000 Location: Oldham Our client is currently looking for an experienced Production Planner to join the business on a permanent basis due to consistent growth year on year. Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare production schedules in order to meet business and customer demands
• General control and housekeeping of Production Work Orders
• Reviewing Warehouse stock availability
• Responsible for establishing and communicating daily work priorities to Supervisors for them to discharge
• Communication between Production and Customer Service and Purchasing Functions
• Effective capacity management of production lines, material and labour resources
• Creation of new item numbers and associated BoM information in Navision
• Maintain and communicate department KPI’s
• Proactively seek and implement improvements to the Production planning and execution processes
• General administrative duties for the Production Department
• To work within business guidelines and procedures. Notify Manager of Safety Hazards.
