Job Description
Title: Production Scheduler
Location: Banbury
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
Shift: Days (Flexible)
Benefits: Hybrid Working (2 days work for home), 26 Days annual leave (Plus bank holidays), Company Pension (6.5% Employee - 13% Employer), Career Development
A new opportunity to join a leading manufacturer within the catering and food production industry on a 15 month fixed term contract, You will be managing production schedules, customer demands with internal production requirements to support manufacturing operations
Supply Planner Responsibilities:
Create and manage production schedules across an 11-day rolling period
Balance customer orders with internal production requirements to support line operations
Collaborate daily with Manufacturing, Transport, Quality and Raw Materials teams to ensure the production schedule runs smoothly
Work with OPR Planners to resolve volume conflicts
Manage short and long-term customer order changes and adjust the production schedule accordingly
Issue the daily production schedule to Materials Planning and Manufacturing teams to support material preparation and production execution
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to plan and schedule liquid trials within the production plan
Work with Projects and Maintenance teams to plan scheduled downtime while minimising disruption to customer deliveriesSupply Planner Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably within Business, Engineering or a related field
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in supply planning, production planning or scheduling
Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices, particularly integrated supply planning
