The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Production Shift Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional looking to take the next step in their career with a company that values leadership, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

As the Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives.
• Ensure daily production targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture across the shift.
• Monitor product quality and ensure all procedures and standards are followed.
• Coordinate staffing levels and allocate work effectively.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive process efficiencies.
• Work closely with engineering, quality and warehouse teams to minimise downtime and maximise output.
• Complete shift handovers, production reports and relevant documentation.
• Support the training and development of team members.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Team Leader position within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience working to production KPIs and targets.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.Good communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and quality standards within manufacturing.
• Comfortable working a continental shift pattern.
