Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations in Coventry . This role offers a blend of on-site leadership and remote coordination, supporting a high-efficiency production environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, ensuring that all manufacturing processes are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a thorough understanding of production workflows, and a commitment to operational excellence. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth functioning of the factory floor and contributes to the company's overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities, ensuring targets for volume, quality, and safety are met.
- Manage, train, and motivate a team of production operators and line leaders.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improved efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with planning and maintenance departments to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback to team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding production environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
