About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Production Supervisor to lead their night shift operations at their manufacturing facility in Oxford . This role is crucial for ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely during overnight hours. You will be responsible for supervising a team, managing workflow, and upholding quality and safety standards. This position requires consistent on-site presence during the night shift to provide direct leadership and support to the production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the night shift production team to achieve daily targets.
- Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are strictly followed by team members.
- Monitor production processes, identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Train and mentor new employees, and provide ongoing guidance to the existing team.
- Maintain accurate production logs, quality checks, and shift reports.
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors and other departments to ensure a smooth handover and continuity of operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably night shift.
- Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and workplace safety.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively under pressure.
- Flexibility to work night shifts consistently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are advantageous.
