Production Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee operations on the factory floor in Bristol . This hands-on role is critical for ensuring that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and motivate a team of production operators, manage daily workflow, and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment, making a direct impact on daily output and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring that targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timeliness.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
• Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on the production floor.
• Manage workflow and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency.
• Maintain production records and report on key performance indicators to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality control , and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
