Production Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee operations at their manufacturing plant in Bradford . This role is critical in ensuring that production lines run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, meeting all targets for output and quality. You will lead a team of production operators, provide training and support, and play a key part in maintaining a high-performance work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily activities of production staff, ensuring adherence to schedules and standards.
• Monitor production processes to identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed on the production floor.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.
• Maintain production records, track performance metrics, and report on key indicators.
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and guide a team of production operators.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with production reporting tools.
