About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Leader to supervise and guide a team on the shop floor at their Wolverhampton facility. This hybrid role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to balance operational demands with team support. You will be responsible for ensuring daily production targets are met, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production operatives to achieve daily targets.
• Ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor production workflow, identify issues, and implement solutions to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct team briefings, assign tasks, and oversee the completion of production orders.
• Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to optimize production output and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, balancing on-site supervision with some administrative tasks.
