Production Team Leader

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to join their manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton . In this role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of production operatives, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial part in the daily running of the production line, providing leadership, support, and fostering a positive working environment within the West Midlands manufacturing community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of production operators to achieve daily production targets.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, quality standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor production workflow, identify any deviations, and implement timely solutions.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on team performance to the Production Supervisor.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork on the production floor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
