About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Professional Cleaner to join their team, focusing on ensuring immaculate standards within the hospitality sector in Cardiff . This role is essential for providing guests with a comfortable and hygienic experience, directly impacting guest satisfaction and the establishment's reputation. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to the highest possible standards. The ideal candidate is meticulous, efficient, and possesses a strong understanding of hotel cleaning protocols and hygiene best practices, contributing to a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards, including changing linens and replenishing amenities.
• Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks in designated areas as per the cleaning schedule.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost property found in rooms or public areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with COSHH regulations.
• Assist with laundry services and stocking cleaning supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a hotel or professional cleaner, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively, especially during peak check-in/check-out times.
• Good understanding of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting.
